Eyebrow dyes today work on the same principle as permanent hair dyes. These are oxidation dyes that use a chemical reaction produced from an oxidizer like hydrogen peroxide and a basic solution like ammonia.

In 2017:, Talika is inspired by professional tone-on-tone hair dye to craft a non-oxidizing at-home brow tint.

Instructions for use:

1. Apply to the entire eyebrow, following the eyebrow line.
2. Leave on for 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the desired intensity (Blond: 30 to 45 minutes / Brown: 30 to 50 minutes / Brown: 30 to 60 minutes).
3. Remove the dye using a cotton ball soaked in makeup remover
4. Redo a dye every 2 weeks for maintenance

The application can be repeated for the same duration just after removing the dye if an even more sustained intensity is desired.
