Description
Our intestinal flora is made up of billions of microorganisms: bacteria, yeasts, fungi and even viruses. This flora, also called microbiota, is characterized by a subtle balance between these different microorganisms. An imbalance can cause feelings of discomfort or even intestinal discomfort.
Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a non-colonizing yeast. This means that it does not adhere to the intestinal wall, limiting the risk of candidiasis. However, it can reach a high concentration in the intestine and remain there in a living form. Numerous studies1-3 have been carried out with Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-3856. This is the case, for example, in the randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study of Pineton de Chambrun1 which was carried out on people aged 18 to 75 years, showing signs of irritable bowel1.
Cerevisia contains a specific yeast strain: Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-3856. This strain was selected after years of research from over 6,000 yeast strains.
Instructions for use:
1 capsule of Cerevisia per day to be taken in the morning during the meal.
To prolong the effects of Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-3856, it is advisable to continue taking Cerevisia over time.
